What's On

Catholic Education Week Address will be delivered by Catherine Monagle at the Central Hall, 20 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy. The address will commence at 8.00 pm. Light refreshments will be served prior to the Address from 6.30 pm.

Easter on the Streets Marist Young Adult Network invites you to explore Easter with friends and the prople of Fitzroy and Collingwood. Come to some or all of the program over the Easter Three Days. myam@maristmelb.org

The devastating effects of deforestation in Indonesia has made one of its provinces the third largest producer of greenhouse gases. Deforestation in Australia has not reached that level but there is still conflict between the aims of conservationists and the livelihoods of forest workers. 

The United States expects to have 140,000 troops in Iraq in July after withdrawing five combat brigades, leaving a force larger than before it began pouring in troops last year.
